Liposuction Tunisia: A Refined Silhouette
Some fat deposits resist exercise and diet, whatever the effort. Liposuction, performed by specialised surgeons using the tumescent technique, removes them for good, for a budget around 55% lower than in France.
What Is Liposuction?
This procedure involves surgically removing localised fat — abdomen, hips, thighs, arms or chin — using fine cannulas, under deep local or general anaesthesia depending on the areas treated.
Are You a Good Candidate?
Liposuction is suitable for people with localised fat deposits that resist exercise and diet, whose weight has been stable for several months and whose skin has kept good elasticity. It is not, however, a treatment for obesity and does not replace significant weight loss.
How Does the Procedure Work?
A fluid that makes suction easier is first injected into the areas to be treated (the so-called tumescent technique), then the fat is removed using fine cannulas. One or more areas can be treated in the same session, for a total duration of 1h to 3h. The procedure is done as a day case or with one night in hospital.
The Stay, Step by Step
After a consultation to precisely define the areas to be treated comes the procedure, followed by wearing a compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks. A stay of 8 to 10 days is recommended.
What Budget Should You Plan?
Treatment of one area starts at around €2000 in Tunisia, compared with €3500 to €4500 in France. For several areas treated together, allow from €3200. These prices include the assessment, the surgeon, the clinic, the compression garment and the follow-up.
What to Expect?
Swelling is normal in the first weeks. The result gradually refines and becomes final between 3 and 6 months — provided you maintain a stable lifestyle, the only guarantee of lasting results.
