Urological Surgery Tunisia: Complete Care
Urinary disorders, kidney stones or specific surgical indications: Tunisian urologists rely on recent endoscopy and lithotripsy equipment to offer complete care at a far more affordable price than in Europe.
Which Procedures Are Offered?
The partner clinics provide transurethral resection of the prostate to treat benign enlargement, treatment of kidney stones by lithotripsy or ureteroscopy, adult circumcision and varicocele repair.
Who Is It For?
These procedures are for people suffering from urinary disorders linked to an enlarged prostate, from symptomatic kidney stones, with a medical indication for circumcision, or facing male infertility linked to a varicocele.
How Does the Stay Work?
After a consultation and a complete assessment (ultrasound, urine tests), the procedure is carried out in the vast majority of cases endoscopically, and is therefore minimally invasive. The hospital stay is short, generally 1 to 3 nights depending on the procedure. A total stay of 8 to 10 days is recommended.
What Budget Should You Plan?
Prostate resection starts at around €2500 in Tunisia, compared with €6000 to €8000 in France. Treatment of a kidney stone starts at €1800, adult circumcision at €900. These prices include the assessment, the urologist, the hospital stay and post-operative follow-up.
And after You Return Home?
A check-up consultation takes place before you leave, and test results are sent to your GP. Your medical coordinator remains reachable for any question after you return home.
